Tony Leavine

Tony began his career with Brown & Brown in March of 2009 as a Commercial Insurance Advisor. In 2013, Tony took on the responsibility of Sales Leadership with Brown & Brown of Tampa focused on teaching and training new agents in the Commercial Property and Casualty discipline. In 2016, Tony became an Executive Vice President with Brown & Brown leading the Tampa office as the agency principal and in 2021 merged his office with the Pinellas office to create Brown & Brown Tampa Bay. Tony has a background in a multitude of complex risks but has spent a large portion of his career in the Commercial Real Estate vertical with experience in insuring the ground up construction and permanent placement of Multifamily & Habitational assets to Commercial and Public Entity portfolios. His largest portfolio is $1.8B in values concentrated in Tampa Bay. Tony is a graduate of the University of Florida Warrington College of Business, and currently holds his Certified Insurance Counselor designation. He has served on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay for over 12 years, and recently completed a 2 year stint as Board Chair.
