Learn about Encore Tampa! On this mobile tour, you will visit a 12-block public-private partnership redevelopment between the Tampa Housing Authority and Bank of America CDC that has been the subject of two ULI Case Studies. This mixed-use, mixed income sustainable redevelopment project replaces old, dilapidated public housing with up to 1513 residential units, plus retail, office, hotel and grocery uses. Already completed or under construction are four residential buildings with 662 units, including 559 affordable to seniors and low-income families. Encore uses innovative and efficient district-wide stormwater management and cooling systems, renewable energy and LEED building standards.
